Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
Demon Slayer season 2 release date speculation and air dates As is the case with most anime, the DemonSlayer season 2 release date is decidedly vague for the time being. For now, the only official announcement says the new season will air sometime in 2021.
Traditionally, anime is divided up into several release windows throughout a calendar year. Spring, Fall, and Winter each see the premiere and return of several popular shows, though Demon Slayer season 2 has missed any chance of debuting in Spring.
The original series ran from April until September 2019 so, unless a release date drop is imminent, Fall 2021 or Winter 2021 is looking far more likely. It’s worth noting, however, the Attack on Titan season 4 return date is this Winter.
If that sticks, expect Demon Slayer season2 to drop beginning in September/October if only to avoid a clash. Before then, the Mugen Train movie will be on most fans’ radars. It launched in October 2020 in Japan and is now out in the US and hits UK cinemas on May 26.
It will be available to purchase digitally on June 22 if you aren’t heading to cinemas at the moment. That’s the greatest indication yet that DemonSlayer season 2 will debut in the second half of 2021.
The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will premiere on December 5, 2021. Season 2, also known as the Entertainment District arc, will premiere with an hour-long episode, and air every Sunday at 11:15 pm (Japan Standard Time).
