Friends if we talk about the IPL 2022 Auction date, then everyone knows that every year the IPL Action used to be held in 20 or so in December.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega Teams audition has started on the 25th of October 2021. BCCI has shortlisted six cities among those six cities, two will be finally added to the IPL 2022 teams.  And those cities are Ranchi, Ahmadabad, Guwahati, Dharamshala, Lucknow, and Cuttack.

The two teams were decided after some intense hours in the bidding room in Dubai on 25th October 2021. We have 2 new IPL 2022 Teams and are Ahmedabad and the second one is Lucknow.

RP Sanjiv Goenka group placed the highest bid of rupees 7090 crores and they decided to choose Lucknow as the base city of their new franchise. While Irelia Company PTE Limited. (CVC capital partners) wins the bid for a franchise from Ahmedabad in 5625 crores for the new franchise.

  Chennai Super Kings  

all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (16 crores), Dhoni (12 crores), all-rounder Moeen Ali (8 crores), and Ruturaj Gaikwad (6 crores). The remaining purse value of CSK is 48 crore.

  Delhi Capitals  

The wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant will continue to lead the side. He has been retained for 16 crores and apart from him, the franchise has kept Prithvi Shaw (7.5 crores), Axar Patel (9 crores), and Anrich Nortje (6.5 crores). The DC remaining purse value is 47.5 crore.

  Kings XI Punjab  

Punjab Kings will see a new skipper as coach Anil Kumble confirmed that KL Rahul was keen to be a part of the auctions. Meanwhile, the franchise has retained opener Mayank Agarwal (12 crores) and rookie seamer Arshdeep Singh (4 crores). Their remaining purse value is 72 crore.

  Kolkata Knight Riders  

All-round strength and have backed Russell (12 crores), Iyer (8 crores), and Narine (6 crores). Apart from the trio, the team also didn’t let go of the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy (8 crores). The remaining purse value of KKR stands at 48 crores.

  Mumbai Indians

Rajasthan Royals have backed their skipper Sanju Samson (14 crores), England star batter Jos Buttler (10 crores), and young Yashasvi Jaiswal (4 crores).  Their remaining purse value stands at 62 crores.

  Royal Challenger Bangalore  

Virat Kohli (15 crores), Glenn Maxwell (11 crores), and Mohammed Siraj (7 crores). The notable omissions from the RCB camp are the previous edition’s purple cap winner Harshal Patel and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Their remaining purse value stands at 57 crores.

  Sunrise Hyderabad  

SRH backed Kane Williamson (14 crores) to lead the franchise. Apart from him the team also retained two uncapped Indian players in the form of Abdul Samad and Umran Malik at 4 crores each. The remaining purse value of SRH is 68 crore.
