When he was one year old his family moved to Punjab From Baglung. Karan used to bowl at speed more than 130 kph. His family planned to back to Nepal for Cricket training. He got a chance to go to a camp in Nepal. He got selected and became Top Seamer of Nepal.
In 2015 ICC WCL Division Two League he named in Nepal Cricket Team in Junarury played a match for the team Nepal.
In 2015 he took 9 wickets in 6 matches with an economy of 3.32 at an average of 15.88.
Karan K.C. was in Nepal’s squad for One Day International(ODI) series against the Netherlands in July 2018.
He made his first debut in T20 against the Netherlands on 30 June 2015.
He got a chance to play the T20 match in Lords on 29 July 2018. This match was Tri-Nation Series with MCC and Netherland. Now he is ready to play Pentangular series in Oman. In Tri-Nation Series he took 4 wickets by giving 17 Runs.
