a. With fans of 78,056 people, SCG organized the finals of the rugby league in 1965. The game was between South Sydney and St George, where St George succeeded in the premiership for the tenth time. The main expansion of this stadium began in 1880, when two stands were made, followed by a tramline.

From 1895 to 1909, a cycling track, women’s stand, and floodlights were established. In 1978, redevelopments of the ground were begun by substituting old scoreboards, stands, and floodlights for the public.
