Section v Soccer
Section V Soccer is an operating body for interscholastic soccer in the state of New York. It is one of 11 sections that made the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). Section V contains 12 counties: Allegany, Cayuga, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates.
Section V Soccer is accountable for managing and controlling the sectional playoffs for boys and girls soccer in Class AA, A, B, C, and D. The sectional playoffs are the completion of the normal season, and the winners of each class move to the NYSPHSAA state championships.
In complement to the sectional playoffs, Section V Soccer even manages and supervises a number of other tournaments, such as the Section V All-Star Game, the Section V Hall of Fame, and the Section V Coach of the Year award.
Section V Soccer is a proud partner of the New York State soccer community, and its teams contain a long record of success at both the sectional and state levels.
Here are a few of the outstanding accomplishments of Section V Soccer teams in recent years:
In the year 2022, the Fillmore Central School boys soccer team completed an undefeated season and beat the Class D New York State Championship.
In the year 2021, the McQuaid Jesuit High School boys soccer squad defeated the Class AA New York State Championship.
In the year of 2019, the Spencerport High School boy’s soccer team defeated the Class A New York State Championship.
Section V Soccer is dedicated to delivering a positive and competitive environment for all student-athletes. It is a proud partner of the New York State soccer community, and its squads contain a long record of success at both the sectional and state levels.
Section V Girls Soccer
Section V Girls Soccer is the operating body for interscholastic girls soccer in a big part of New York State, spreading over 12 different counties like Allegany, Cayuga, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates.
Section V Girls Soccer is responsible for managing and supervising the sectional playoffs for girls soccer in Class AA, A, B, C, and D. The sectional playoffs are the completion of the normal season, and the winners of each class move to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) state championships.

Section V Girls Soccer is one of the most competitive girls’ soccer divisions in the nation. In a few years, Section V teams have always served well at the state level, succeeding in numerous state championships.
